I am a Greeter in San Lorenzo in Banale.
I have always lived here. My father Eugenio was a bricklayer and worked in tunnels building hydroelectric power stations; my mother Anna was the heart of the family. After school, I learned to sew from the nuns and at fifteen I started working in a factory in Dorsino, then in the hotels in the village.
At twenty-two, I married Gianfranco and became the mother of Rudy, a tinsmith, and Federica. She explored the world, while I remained in the mountains and my community, proud of her courage. Even far away, she knows that San Lorenzo is always her home.
I have always wanted to help others: as a catechist, a summer camp counsellor and a companion to the elderly at the Bleggio retirement home. Today, I am part of the Filodrammatica theatre company, assisting with directing and prompting on stage.
My fondest memories are of my grandparents and the village of Pezol, with its meadows and the scent of cut grass, and the authentic taste of tomatoes in my grandmother's bucket.
I love sharing the beauty of the village with visitors, along with the memories and emotions that make it unique.
How can I help you
I will guide you through the streets of the village, sharing beauty, memories and stories of life, taking inspiration from the courage of my daughter, an explorer of the world.
