Passing by farmsteads and mountain huts, the route winds through an unspoilt corner of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, amongst woods, meadows and ancient mountain paths.
The route climbs gently through a landscape that still bears traces of the rural life of days gone by. Along the way, you’ll come across old farmsteads, mountain huts and pastures – places that bear witness to the deep connection between local communities, livestock farming and working the land.
Rounding off the route are the old cableways that once linked the farmsteads and enabled people to reach their homes at higher altitudes. A tangible example of the ingenuity and tenacity with which the inhabitants have managed to live and adapt to life in the mountains.
