You walk through history. The trail winds its way through the woods, history and landscapes of the Banale region, following in the footsteps of the ancient route taken by Saint Vigilius, patron saint of the Diocese of Trento.
The route starts at the Sanctuary of Deggia and winds its way through woods, scenic paths and places steeped in history, offering views from above of the Limarò Canyon gorges, passing by the little church of San Vigilio and the mountain pastures of Baél.
Votive chapels, ancient pastures and mountain huts bear witness to the deep connection between these mountains and the people who have lived here.
