It is the largest protected area in Trentino, with 61,864 hectares of unique flora and fauna. In forests of fir, larch, and Scots pine hide chamois, deer, and squirrels, while the brown bear moves through the most remote valleys.
Meadows and clearings, dotted with gentians, edelweiss, and rhododendrons, tell of millennia of glaciations. In spring and summer rare flowers such as Linnaea borealis color the slopes.
Near us, in Stenico, the Area Natura offers experiences for the whole family: the Casa del Parco Flora with interactive games and educational panels, and the Botanical Garden, which showcases local biodiversity.
At the heart of the Area Natura are the Rio Bianco waterfalls, thundering and spectacular, refreshing in summer and visible from little bridges and panoramic trails.
For San Lorenzo Dorsino the Adamello Brenta Natural Park is not only landscape, but a cultural and educational resource: Casa Osèì hosts UO.MO Leggero come una montagna, an interactive museum that shows the fragility and beauty of biodiversity.
The Adamello Brenta Natural Park teaches us respect, wonder, and how precious it is to protect the nature around us.
