I am a child of the Trentino mountains, raised among silent woods and rocks that speak of freedom. Until 2000, I ran a bar, then my encounter with shiatsu changed the direction of my life forever.
I am a student of Master Kazunori Sasaki Sensei. From him, I learned to perceive the body, energy and presence in a new way. Today, I am a therapist and teacher of Kata Iokai Meridian Shiatsu.
During a course in France taught by my master, I met Alissa Shiraishi, a Butō dancer from Japan. It was a meeting of souls: we fell in love and got married, first in the mountains of Trentino and then in Japan. Together we created MattariVita, a project that unites body, mind and spirit. Mattari is a Japanese word that evokes a delicate but profound taste, as well as a state of calm, fullness and depth. It is our philosophy of life: slow down, breathe, live with presence and transmit positive energy.
I am passionate about martial arts and yoga. In my yoga, meditation and shiatsu courses, I teach with simplicity and spontaneity.
