What could be more magical than a castle for a child?

At Stenico Castle, among towers and secrets, every stone tells a story. Once the summer residence of the Prince Bishop of Trento, the castle preserves his private chamber, with a curious hidden toilet, and the splendid Sala dei Putti, where he welcomed his most illustrious guests.

But the place that really fascinates children is the Torre della Fame, the ancient prison tower. Behind an iron grate and rusty chains lies the dark and mysterious dungeon, where prisoners were once condemned to hunger and solitude. In one corner, a large stone ball, bound with heavy chains, tells the story of where the saying being a ball and chain comes from.

Every visit to Stenico Castle is an adventure: amid riddles, legends and discoveries, young explorers become knights and princesses of the past.

Thanks to the Educational Services of the Buonconsiglio Castle, playful trails and intellectual challenges transform every step into a journey through time.
