There are places that seem to have come out of a fairy tale, where water dances among the rocks and time stands still to listen to it.
The Rio Bianco Waterfalls, in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, are just like that: thunderous, majestic, pure white. They originate in the mountains and plunge down into the valley with all their force, offering a spectacle that enchants adults and children alike.
There are three waterfalls: the main one of Rio Bianco and the smaller ones of Rio Cugol and Rio Malea. Together they create a refreshing and amazing water concert. Summer is the perfect time to come and discover them: the water, always at 4°C, offers freshness and fun, and children love to be caressed by the silvery spray.
From below, the view is impressive: the waterfall seems to descend from the sky, white and noisy. But it is when you climb the path through the botanical garden that the magic is fully revealed. From above, on the suspension bridge, the water flows impetuously under your feet and your heart beats fast in front of a spectacle that leaves you speechless.
Be warned, however: the Rio Bianco waterfalls are temporary. They fall asleep in winter, only to reawaken in spring, bright and alive like the nature that surrounds them.
