I am a Greeter in San Lorenzo in Banale.
For the inhabitants of the village, I am a furèsta: I was not born here and I do not live here, but every time I arrive, I feel at home. Born in Solandra, I put down roots in Campo Lomaso for love, and a piece of my heart remained in San Lorenzo.
I am a retired maths teacher, but I continue to teach as a volunteer with migrants at the Penny Wirton school in Fiavè. My passion for teaching was born in San Lorenzo, where I discovered the wonder in children's eyes. This is where my life as a teacher began, full of encounters, laughter and emotions.
What binds me even more to the village is my friendship with Ida. Together we are Greeters and accompany visitors through the streets of the village.
From her I learned that love for a place also comes from the people who live there and talk about it with passion.
I like to guide those who come to discover it, because every visit is, even for me, like seeing it for the first time.
How can I help you
I will accompany you through the village, recounting traditions and stories, as I have always done when teaching children with passion.
