A majestic castle, a white waterfall and an enchanted forest.
In Stenico, it feels like living in a fairy tale, when ladies and knights brought Castel Stenico, the residence of the Prince Bishop of Trento, to life. As soon as you arrive in Stenico, the castle welcomes you proudly, perched on a rocky spur. Once a fortress and noble residence, today it houses precious collections and ancient memories.
From its walls, you can see the Rio Bianco waterfall, which explodes in all its power in summer, and a little higher up, the BoscoArteStenico, which we simply call BAS. An open-air museum that transforms nature into art: works of land art that change with the seasons.
A little further on, the Val d'Algone opens up, with its pastures, monumental beech woods, mountain huts and spectacular views of the Adamello-Presanella glacier.
