Just above Lake Garda, Lake Tenno captivates you at first glance with its turquoise waters and white pebble beaches.
We call it the blue lake: its rocky bottom, devoid of vegetation, makes the colour so intense that it seems unreal. Completely surrounded by nature, it is perfect for a refreshing swim in summer. The water level changes with the seasons: sometimes you can walk to the small island in the centre, other times it remains hidden.
The waters filter into the ground and join the Magnone stream, giving rise shortly afterwards to the Varone waterfalls, a natural wonder not to be missed.
From the lake, a walk through woods and olive groves leads to Canale di Tenno, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. A village of artists, once almost abandoned, it was revived in the 1960s thanks to the Casa degli Artisti (House of Artists) founded by Giacomo Vittone.
Every corner tells stories of art and passion, and the village comes alive with unique events: Rustico Medioevo in summer and Christmas markets in December.
