It is a simple and picturesque walk, ideal for families and for anyone wishing to spend a few hours in the open air, letting themselves be captivated by the beauty of a setting that remains unspoilt.
The path winds its way alongside Lake Nembia, a WWF nature reserve home to frogs and insects of all kinds. A little further up, in the woods, a few little houses peep out, looking as though they’ve stepped straight out of a fairy tale, with an entire boulder in place of one wall, nestled against the mountain as if they’d been born there together. In the past, houses were built this way to shelter from the wind and to save on building stones.
