This is a no-kill lake, dedicated to fly fishing or spinning. Its waters are home to large trout species: brown trout, rainbow trout, marble trout and a few char. All of these are species that the clarity and freshness of alpine waters.
For a perfect experience, use a 220–240 cm rod, a 2000 or 3000 reel, and 10–30 g line. The lake is managed by the Associazione Pescatori Alto Sarca, who issue a single daily permit that also allows you to fish in the Sarca river.
